Polyester Strapping, 16" x 6" Core, 5/8" x .030 x 3800', Green. Polyester strapping, also known as PET strapping, is used when regular polypropylene strapping isn't strong enough to get the job done. Most commonly resembles steel strapping in its physical characteristics. Can withstand higher tensioning than other plastic strapping up to 25% high, with equivalent break strengths. Retains tension on rigid loads better than other non-metallic strapping. Virtually unaffected by weather or ultraviolet rays. Significantly lower in cost than steel strapping, while also safer to use and easier to dispose of.
