Designed for use with the Muro FDVL41 Speed Driver Auto Feed Screw Gun, these collated shroomless composite deck screws are ideal for fastening composite decking on non-marine inland decks. They are specifically designed to help eliminate the "mushrooming" effect caused by standard deck screws in composite deck materials.
The tan ceramic coating is designed for use in non-corrosive, non-marine environments. When your working in a harsher environment, stainless steel is a better option. Type 305 stainless steel offers good protection against general corrosion risk, while type 316 stainless is recommended for harsh, salty, marine environments.
