Fully tested to the latest standards, the HTT45's high load carrying capacity exceeds the hold-down connection requirements for alternate braced wall construction. The body is made of 10-gauge ASTM A653 galvanized steel, and the washer is made of 3-gauge ASTM A36 steel.
